Using ShadowDraw and Troubleshooting
Can I draw with any stylus?
Absolutely! ShadowDraw supports using an Apple Pencil or a third-party stylus.
Can I choose my own colors or brushes in ShadowDraw?
Yes! You can choose between two drawing modes at the beginning of every lesson. Sketch My Way lets you choose your own colors or switch brushes as you follow the lesson. Art Teacher Mode keeps the colors and brushes pre-selected by the art teacher for you.
Where can I see my works in progress?
Pick up where you left off by navigating to Saved Drawings in the Menu. Simply tap on your unfinished artwork to keep drawing!
Can I edit my artwork?
Yes. You can edit any drawing by navigating to Saved Drawings in the Menu. Just tap on the drawing and then on the edit icon in the top right of the Canvas.
Can I use ShadowDraw on more than one device?
Of course! If you have multiple devices, you can access ShadowDraw by downloading it on each device using the same Apple ID. Additionally, you have the option to enable Family Sharing, allowing you to share your ShadowDraw+ subscription with your family members.
The app is crashing. Can you help me?
Start by updating ShadowDraw to the newest version from the App Store, then give your device a reboot. Our goal is to make ShadowDraw better with each update, and this often fixes common issues. If you're still having trouble, send us an email at support@shadowdrawapp.com detailing the problem. Don't hesitate to share videos or screenshots, and we'll be happy to lend a hand!

Can I use ShadowDraw for free?
Yes. You can use ShadowDraw completely free of charge and without being subscribed at all. However, in the free plan, the number of drawing lessons and features is limited. Subscribe to ShadowDraw+ to have unlimited drawings.

How do I turn on Family Sharing?
Here are the steps to follow:
Open the Settings app on your iPad.
Tap on your Name, then select Family Sharing.
If you haven't set up Family Sharing yet, don't worry! You can do it now and add your family members.
Now, on all the iPads included in Family Sharing:
Open ShadowDraw.
Navigate to Settings in the Menu.
Find In-App Purchases, and tap on Restore Purchases.
How can I cancel my free trial or subscription to ShadowDraw+?
Launch the Settings app on your iPad.
Tap on your Name.
Tap on Subscriptions.
Scroll down and tap Manage Subscriptions.
Tap on ShadowDraw.
Finally, tap Cancel Subscription. If you don't see a Cancel Subscription button or you notice a red expiration message, it means the subscription has already been canceled.

No. We agree that would be extremely awesome, but it unfortunately clashes with copyrights. By downloading ShadowDraw, you agree to use the content for your own personal, non-commercial purposes.
